Annie
As a tribute to the musical Annie which took place at The Hummingbird Centre on Wednesday, March 7th, DiscoverAbility created a painting with the theme and title of “The Sun Will Come out Tomorrow”. Inspired by the well known film Annie, students from Wexford C.I. School for the Arts and Earl Haig S.S. Claude Watson program accompanied DiscoverAbility Art Mentor Zara Diniz at The 7th Annual Children’s, Youth and Young Adult Art Exhibit and Silent Charity Auction during art demonstrations throughout the week at CBC. Presented to C.E.O. Dan Brambilla of The Hummingbird Centre on Friday, February 9th during Arts Alive - a celebration of performances located in the CBC atrium, this painting was also part of a silent auction.
